Local Resources Near Our In Home Senior Care Agency in Clinton Township, MI

It’s important that loved ones seeking in home senior care get out and about simply for fresh air or to socialize

There are many things that can be done for your loved one at home so they can thrive independently.  However, there are also many instances where they will need to leave the home for errands, health checkups, events, and more.  Our in home senior care team can be there for them!  We ensure your loved one’s safety by regularly reviewing our team members personal records and driving records in addition to drug screenings.  Their vehicles are also inspected to confirm that they are equipped with senior-friendly accommodations.

Going out into the city of Clinton Township can be very beneficial for your loved one.  Walking to and from destinations can improve their circulation, loosen stiff joints, and generally give them some low-impact exercise.  Interacting with others, building relations, and engaging the mind it other ways can also do wonders for their mental health.  Start planning a fun day with your in home senior care providers, family members, or friends!  Maybe you will even see us at a community event!

Three strategies for optimum brain health are revealed, which form the basis of subsequent lectures. In the second lecture, Kathy Housey presents the exciting and vital connection between exercise and increased brain capacity. The old adage "use it or lose it," is never more valid as related to senior brain health. Kathy discusses not only the latest findings but offers exercise for different ability levels and discusses aspects of balance drills alongside aerobic exercise. The third lectures discuss the important connections between what you put in your body and how it affects cognitive functioning. Simple dietary changes can make you look and feel better while offering important brain protection. "Leaky gut syndrome," and the effects of too much sugar are discussed and important food strategies are offered. Lastly, the fourth lecture will reveal the importance and lasting effects both relaxation and sleep have on achieving and maintaining brain health.
